Quoted

Here are a bunch of quotes I've heard in the last week or so, and for some reason they have all stood out. Some are from class lectures, books, movies, sermons, or just silly people talking. They may mean something to you, or they may just seem completely random, but all of them have made me think. So enjoy.

"We would all be apalled at how little others think about us." -Mark Twain

"Above all things I believe in Love" -Moulin Rouge

"The greatest thing you'll ever learn is to love and be loved in return" -Moulin Rouge

"You're free to leave me, just please don't decieve me" -Moulin Rouge

"When I can talk, I will listen" - a friend

"God answers the cries of his people." -Pastor Randy Beeman

"God's love doesn't make us perfect it makes us forgiven" -Pastor Randy

"Wearing summer clothes in the middle of winter has never made summer come any sooner."
-Sassy, Single, and Satisfied by Michelle McKinney Hammond

Bible verse of the day: Psalm 97:1 "The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice."

Pain so Real

My Immortal

I'm so tired of being here
Suppressed by all my childish fears
And if you have to leave
I wish that you would just leave
'Cause your presence still lingers here
And it won't leave me alone

These wounds won't seem to heal
This pain is just too real
There's just too much that time cannot erase

When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears
When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears
And I held your hand through all of these years
But you still have All of me

You used to captivate me
By your resonating life
Now I'm bound by the life you've left behind
Your face it haunts
My once pleasant dreams
Your voice it chased away
All the sanity in me

I've tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone
But though you're still with me
I've been alone all along
-Evanescence

Bible verse of the night: Psalm 27:2 "When evil men advance against me to devour my flesh, when my enemies and my foes attack me, they will stumble and fall."
