Oh Lord...Grant me this prayer

Following is a dangerous poem. If God grants this prayer life would radically change. Today I was reminded that there are millions of God's children out there who are hurting, lost, and missing the love and mercy that God offers everyone of us.

Oh Lord
Give me a heart for the hurting
That I may feel their pain
That they can stop crying

Oh Lord
Give me a light for the searching
That I may guide them
That they will not stumble

Oh Lord
Give me strength for the weak
That I may carry them
That they may survive

Oh Lord
Give me food for the hungry
That I may feed them
That they may be nourished

Oh Lord
Give me water for the thirsty
That I may quench the thirst
That their throats may not be dry

Oh Lord
Give me a voice for the mute
That I may speak on their behalf
That they may not be forgotten

Oh Lord
Give me vision for the blind
That I can see you
That they won’t miss you

Oh Lord
Give me feet for the lame
That I may go to them
That they may not be left alone

Oh Lord
Give me a memory of the people
That I may not forget your children
That they may be shown your love

Oh Lord
Use Me
That I may know you more
That they may know you more

Verse of the Day: 1 John 3:16-18 "This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has not pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth."
