Farewell Sweet Land...Hello Italy!
My plane departs in a little less than 12 hours and in all honesty I should be in bed. I wanted to update one more time before I left the states.
I will arrive in Venice around 10:00 a.m. on Monday morning. The flight is going to be difficult for me but I have faith that God will keep me safe and that I will arrive at the University all in one piece. God has really been at work throughout this entire trip. I know he will not leave me now...or ever for that matter.
I have had so much on my plate these last few weeks that I ended up doing most of my packing today. But on the upside, God provided a job for the last two weeks of Christmas break as a temp at BCBS of KS. It was great plus I got to work with my dad which was cool. But it provided a little extra spending money before and after I leave.
I bought a new camera... so be prepared for lots of pictures. I got a new coat and new tennis shoes so hopefully I'm all set!
Well I need to be in bed, so the next time you hear from me I will be in a land far far away...witnessing more of the wonderful things my God created.
Verse of the night: Isaiah 45: 5-7 "I am the Lord, and there is no other, apart from me there is no God. I will strengthen you, though you have not acknowledged me, so that from the rising of the sun to the place of its setting men may know there is none besides me. I am the Lord, and there is no other. I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I the Lord, have created it."
