I am so Blessed

"Thankfulness, thankfulness, is what I long for
Thankfulness is what I need.
Thankfulness, thankfulness is what you want from me"

With in the last couple of weeks I have come to realize how blessed I am. Life changes in an instant and for 21 years I have taken some people and things for granted.

Here is my prayer.

God,
Thank you for your son
Jesus, my savior, and
my sin undone.

Thank you for my dad,
an example of your love,
given so I may be glad.

Thank you for my mother,
chef, chauffer, nurse, teacher,
and friend like no other,

Thank you for my sister,
some one to love and tease,
no one but just her.

Thank your for my brother,
who makes me laugh, even
if some days his face I want to smother.

Thank you for my friends,
when distance separtates,
this is a bond that never ends.

Thank you for my wealth,
riches beyond money,
life, liberty, and health.

Thank you for my intellect,
and opportunities that come,
with it, the best I must select.

Thank you for my country,
a land of many who need you,
a mission and perfect opportunity.

Thank you for your love,
your mercy, your grace, and
you eyes watching from above.
