Update
May 2: My life according to me. What a funny statement. My life isn't according to me, it only runs by God's great grace. His power is sovreign. He is Lord. Sometimes he disciplines us in a way that truely hurts, but we grow from his discipline. Lets just say I learning about his merciful discipline right now.
New Orleans was great! God taught me a lot there! If you want to know more about it, call me or I can send you a letter about everything I did. It was pretty amazing.
I know I've used this one before, but it is kind of sticking out in my mind right now. It never hurts to hear a verse more than once.
Phillipians 2:3-4 "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not to your own interests, but also the interests of others."

More fun musings on that topic...
Really, when you think about it, it's not your life. Start trying to live that one out (rather paradoxical, I know) and watch everything get turned upside down!
